Position Overview:

The Crypsis Group is seeking an experienced cybersecurity executive in the position of Vice President of Sales-Cyber Insurance Solutions.  This role will be responsible for expanding our current and prospective Cyber Insurance client customer base for incident response, risk management, and digital forensic services.  You will also work hand-in-hand with the industry’s leading law firms and breach coaches on a day-to-day basis.  Candidates should have a proven performance history of building professional executive relationships and growing business through servicing commercial Cyber Insurance clients from a national standpoint.  The Vice President of Sales-Cyber Insurance Solutions will report directly into the Chief Revenue Officer and will have a demonstrated track record of success in consistently exceeding sales goals while simultaneously leading high performing sales and business development teams.

Responsibilities for the Vice President of Sales-Cyber Insurance Solutions include:

  • The Vice President of Sales-Cyber Insurance Solutions will be responsible for establishing and managing the growth of Cyber Insurance sales, including all business development, forecasting and reporting processes.
  • Provide leadership for our business development team to provide strategic direction and influence our focus on expanding and growing service offerings within current and target clients through expertise and knowledge within the Cyber Insurance sector.
  • Ability to advise on Cyber Insurance policies to ensure proper coverage, risk mitigation, and financial risk are deployed for services performed by The Crypsis Group in serving clients in their operations and security posture.
  • Develop key growth sales strategies, approach and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is essential to achieve organization financial targets for the organization.
  • Direct interface with senior customer executives and prospective account pursuits.
  • Achievement of annual targets, building relationships and understanding emerging customer trends within cybersecurity, Cyber Insurance and core services The Crypsis Group provides in the marketplace.
  • Work in collaboration with Crypsis executives and leadership teams to establish and proactively establish professional relationships and new business opportunities.
  • Initiate strategic client management processes for sales teams to include:  establishing and maintaining a pipeline of cyber insurance client leads, develop partnerships to extend The Crypsis Group brand and service offerings, proposal creation, executive and key stake-holder presentations, pricing strategy, and negotiations.

Qualifications for the Vice President of Sales-Cyber Insurance Solutions include:

  • Ten years of professional experience in an advisory or consulting services sales and business development role aligned to Cyber Insurance agencies and clients.
  • Experience within the incident response, risk management, and digital forensic services industry are preferred.
  • Experience in working collaboratively to represent a portfolio of services to stakeholders within commercial insurance and insurance agency clientele.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies, standards, sales enablement and performance metrics aligned with optimizing a sales organization and team.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to effectively sell, foster client relationships and successfully negotiate mutual benefit on behalf of The Crypsis Group and clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
